The History of Pleasance Junk Rig
We would like to share our boat building journey with you.
We bought our steel boat in 2010, as just an unfinished project. Only the hull had been fabricated to the Bruce Roberts Plans, it has taken ... years to get her to the beautiful vessel she is today.
Her name originates from Lewis Carols' Alice in Wonderland (Pleasance being Alices' middle name). It also means a retreat, a place of happiness.
Our family and friends have been on many voyages in her with us, she is a solid, safe blue water yacht, and it is with great regret we have to sell her.
She is currently berthed in Maryport Marina, United Kingdom
